Bangkok Veterans League

• Harrow Teachers •

Harrow Teachers were the 2nd of the 2 expansion teams in our 2nd monthly competition in Apr/2005, and they also made a big impact on their very first participation — by coming 2nd (losing to Yingcharoen, the other expansion team, in the Grand Final), and carrying the championship the next competition in Jun/2005. Generally, they finish towards the top of the pack, and always a tough team to play against.

Under the strong leadership of Steve, and their inspirational Captain Matt making his wild 70m runs, they prepare themselves well for the beers at the end of each competition day.

Self Description:

Over the Years:

[Nov/2006] — Harrow Teachers, on their home ground, seemed a strong side to beat.

[Dec/2006] — The always "HIV" positive "Harrow International Veterans" under the leadership of Khun Kruu Steve.

[Feb/2007] — Khun Kruu Steve and Harrow Teachers, with a couple of ringers from Pickled Liver, had one of their best tournaments in recent memory this month, and brought home the Plate! (5th overall) trophy, handing Cosmos their "first-ever" defeat in the Vets in the process.

[Mar/2007] — Another brave display of football from the "always positive" Harrow Teachers.

[Nov/2007] — Harrow Teachers, with a towering goalkeeper, finished the day with a rare 2nd overall finish.
